KLIA2 launches RM58 airport car for a seamless travel experience

SEPANG 28 — Kuala Lumpur International Airport gateway@klia2 has joined hands with partners to launch the "Touch, Travel, Explore" campaign, with four major upgrades to TTKLIA's smart mobility, namely the intelligent ride-hailing system, the TTKLIA one-stop service platform, the Teeko.ai smart travel assistant and the return car plan.

"TTKLIA's mission is to make airport travel smarter, safer and more economical.

From the Teeko.ai smart assistant to the RM58 return official taxi scheme, he said it is not only committed to enhancing the passenger experience but also actively boosting the income of the driver community.


The all-Malaysian official taxi starts from RM58 from Klang Valley to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, offering a cost-effective service with a fleet of 800 certified vehicles while increasing driver revenue by up to 65%.



Minister of Transport Luk Siu-fook personally presided over the opening ceremony today, attended by gateway@klia2 General Manager Cheng Qingrui and TTKLIA Chief Executive Officer Cai Zipei.


This cooperation is perfectly in line with the national smart transportation development blueprint, through the comprehensive upgrade of modern taxi infrastructure and e-hailing system, not only to provide passengers with a seamless travel experience, but also to improve the income level of drivers through standardized management, so as to achieve a win-win situation in the industrial chain.


The statement pointed out that this initiative significantly strengthens the service capacity of Kuala Lumpur International Airport as a regional hub, sets a new benchmark for promoting the digital transformation of Malaysia's public transportation system, and truly realizes the dual improvement of national interests and people's livelihood.


This collaboration brings together institutions such as gateway@klia2, TTKLIA, the Ministry of Tourism, the World Cultural Organization, WCT Buddy and Traveloka to create an innovative platform that integrates smart mobility and cultural display, showcasing Malaysia's cultural charm and modern mobility services, and preparing for Malaysia's tourism year 2026.

Three exciting cultural exhibitions celebrate Malaysia's multicultural characteristics and regional unity. Each exhibition is crafted by world-class master Hu Lu Kee and the World Cultural Organization (WCO) team, and supported by the National Cultural Palace of Malaysia, with traditional handicraft performances and cultural performances, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the essence of Malaysian art and the region's cultural heritage.


From now until November 20, three themed exhibitions will be held in turn:


"Warisan Kita, Kebanggaan Bersama," our country's National Day exhibition (August 15 to September 21), with the theme of National Day, pays tribute to Malaysia's rich historical and cultural heritage through miniature sculptures, traditional dances and daily life scenes.


The "Tiny Echoes of China" China National Day Golden Week Special Exhibition (September 26 to October 18)was grandly launched in conjunction with China Golden Week, presenting the palace feast, national style and artistic conception of Chinese historical poetry and painting with exquisite noodle sculpting techniques.


The "Tiny Treasures of ASEAN" ASEAN Summit Preview (24 October to 20 November)showcases the charm of ASEAN regional unity with traditional costumes and miniature art, warming up the upcoming ASEAN Summit hosted by Malaysia.
